We only collect information that parents/guardians or other adult visitors choose to give us through this website:
- Newsletter signup: your email address, so we can send you class updates, workshop dates, and shop launch news.
- Contact: if you email or call us directly, we'll have your email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us.
- Website analytics: if you accept cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data (pages visited, general location, device type) to help us understand how the site is used.
We do not collect any information directly from children through this website.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To send newsletter updates you've signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To respond to enquiries about classes, workshops, or the schools programme
- To understand and improve how the website is used
4. Legal Basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent (newsletter signup, analytics cookies) or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you've sent us.

6. Who We Share Data With
- Web3Forms — delivers newsletter signups to our inbox by email
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd) — anonymised website usage data, only with your consent
- Cloudflare — our website hosting and security provider
We never sell your data, and we don't share it for marketing by anyone else.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry emails are kept as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping afterwards. Analytics data follows Google's standard retention settings.
8. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or ask us to delete your personal data, and to object to how it's used. To exercise any of these rights, email littlelotusdublin@gmail.com.
You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) if you have concerns about how your data is handled.
9. Children's Data
Little Lotus takes children's safety and privacy seriously. See our Child Safeguarding Policy for how we protect children during classes. Photos or videos of children are never taken or used without prior written consent from parents/carers and the school, as set out in that policy.

This policy will be reviewed annually or sooner if our data practices change.
